He was a prat, but we've finally done a BD class and we did go in at Elementary!
It was 4 degrees and wet. Fred had been in all week and he literally just stuck his fingers up at me and hollowed throughout the test. INCLUDING, ignoring me on the 10m circles and actually stepping outside the arena ON BOTH! Little sod.
But this year I am "going to be more Maurice" so I'm going to laugh it off, chalk it up to experience and sign up to the next BD test!
He scored 58.9 - 7 x 5's! for being an eejit. (One 7 for the free walk) If they'd been 5.5s we'd have just scrapped at 60% and if he'd behaved we'd have had early 60s score but he didn't and there we are.
But such is the way of dressage that there were 4 in our class, 3 in my section - and as poor Kim had to retire - we managed to get 2nd place.
