Novice team jumping - 2nd place
After a bit of practice at home building our jumping steadily and sanely up to 70cm (particularly after August's hilarities) we headed out to join our local riding club - Brent Knoll RC - for their team jumping competition.
We jumped a nice clear round and then entered the team class. There are two rounds in the team event. We were clear in round 1, but had 4 faults in round 2 - the blue fence down in the background of pic - But with clear rounds from two other of my teams mates, we were delighted to get 2nd place.
